Just a letter opener I made in a few spare minutes, made from a green branch from a bush out in my yard (Don't know what it is to be honest lol, though if I had known some of the internal make up of the wood I wouldn't have used it.
Anyway Did the shaping with a knife (A "Yoshi Blade" Ceramic knife that I got from Walmart forever ago, works really well surprisingly), then smoothed with sandpaper then finished with 400 grit sand paper and then let it soak up some linseed oil. not overly complicated and am tempted to make a bunch of them for sale here. I am also thinking of getting a wood burner and start doing some designs into the blade and handle.
I literally did this in like 3 hours then took about half a day to let it sit in the oil then wiped it clean.
that just reminded me of a store that could feed both my fathers addictions (i have no idea how it reminded me of it) it was a fishing/tobacco shop...4 am is a fun time of day lol
